Robin Smith is considered to be one of the most accomplished
arrangers and composers in the Music Industry today. He has worked
for many years at the highest standard whilst collaborating with
some of the most talented artists in the world.
Robin trained at the Royal College of Music in
London taking the prestigious Bachelor of Music degree in composition
under Dr Anthony Milner.
Robin regularly works with many of the great
orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic
Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Orchestra having conducted
at the Royal Albert Hall in London and Carnegie Hall in New York.
His talents have lead him around the world composing, conducting,
orchestrating, arranging and producing in many countries including
Europe, America and Australia.
At the age of five Robin started playing the
piano by six he was already composing. Robin’s exposure
to a wide genre of music throughout his childhood combined with
his classical training and the influence of American Jazz/R’NB
resulted in Robin specialising in the world of music where modern
recording techniques meet the classical format.
Robin’s expertise in this field has secured
him a highly successful career. Indeed, there are not many if
any at all who can boast, Arranging for Cher, Orchestrating for
Enrique Iglesias, programming for Burt Bacharach, Producing Andrea
Bocelli and Composing for Pavarotti.
His most recent production is the debut album
‘2 Shots’ for the Canadian artist Matt Dusk, who features
in the hit American T.V. Series ‘The Casino’ and is
currently arranging for Angela Gheorghiu.
